Everyone possesses unconscious or implicit bias, but the majority of us are not aware of its impact on our thoughts and actions. Unconscious bias refers to the attitudes or stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions and decisions in an unconscious manner.

SKINCLUSIONTM, a new campaign from Obagi®, is looking to create a global dialogue about the need for people around the world to recognize and address their own unconscious bias, specifically surrounding skin tone. While unintentional, unconscious bias reflects deeply engrained stereotypes and can create “blind spots” that prevent us from seeing the beautiful humanity we all share.

Monsters Kick Off Summer Vacation By Cruising Into Cannes Film Festival To Launch A Sneak Peek From “Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation”

CANNES, FRANCE – Drac’s Pack splashed down in a dazzling and colorful parade to kick off their monster vacation at the start of the 71st Cannes Film Festival at The Carlton Pier on May 7, 2018.   

Following the aquatic procession and photo call along the French Riviera, director Genndy Tartakovsky, alongside some of the film’s international voice talent, debuted a new sneak peek from the upcoming summer film, “Hotel Transylvania 3:  A Monster Vacation.”  The movie opens in theatres worldwide starting in late June through August 2018.

The parade was quite the spectacle and featured many of the beloved characters from the film as well as some new additions, including the mysterious ship captain Ericka, who cruised into the festival in a series of colorful themed watercrafts.   The monster parade also featured a boat-load of Gremlins, waterskiing Zombie Bellhops, and thrill-seeking Witches riding a precarious banana boat.

Director Genndy Tartakovsky was joined by the movie’s international voice talent including Anke Engelke (voices “Ericka” in Germany), Rick Kavanian (“Drac” in Germany), Janina Uhse (“Mavis” in Germany), Raya Abirached (“Ericka” in the Arabic language) and Lesia Nikitiuk (“Ericka” in Ukraine).

The event culminated with Tartakovsky pushing a coffin-shaped button to launch content from the film across the internet — an airplane sequence where the Gremlins take charge. “The Girl In The Spider’s Web” Wraps Principal Photography In Stockholm With Photocall

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – On Friday April 13th, the film cast from “The Girl in the Spider’s Web”, Claire Foy, Sverrir Gudnason, Lakeith Stanfield, Stephen Merchant and director Fede Álvarez attended a photocall of the eve of wrapping principal photography in Stockholm where the thriller is based.

Cult heroine Lisbeth Salander returns to our cinema screens this autumn in a new adventure.  “The Girl in the Spider’s Web” will be released in cinemas by Columbia Pictures globally from October 17th, 2018.

Burberry February 2018 Show – London Fashion Week

‘TIME’

REFLECTING THE PAST, CELEBRATING THE PRESENT, HERALDING THE FUTURE

LONDON, UK – 17 February 2018 – Burberry tonight celebrated ‘Time’, Christopher Bailey’s final collection for the brand, against a multisensory installation that forms part of a new collaboration with United Visual Artists (UVA).

‘Our Time’, a piece of work on loan from the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Australia, investigates the subjective experience of the passing of time through movement, light and sound, and was reimagined in collaboration with Christopher, to provide the backdrop to the runway collection. The installation’s pendulums swung to their own rhythm in time to the show’s soundtrack by Jimmy Somerville, The Communards and Bronski Beat.

Models including past and present campaign stars Adwoa Aboah, Jean Campbell, Montell Martin and Edie Campbell – who appeared in her first Burberry campaign in 2006 – revealed the collection, which revisited past icons and house codes, including the trench coat, the aviator, the cape, the poncho and the military coat as well as introduced new designs.

The Rainbow check, the latest iteration of Burberry’s most iconic symbol and designed as part of Christopher’s dedication of his last collection to LGBTQ+ communities, featured throughout the show. A capsule of reissued archive pieces from the 1980s and 1990s rereleased as part of this collection is now available for immediate purchase.

Cara Delevingne, discovered by Christopher and Burberry over seven years ago, closed the show and led the finale as models walked under a spectrum of rainbow laser lights.

“Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” Holds Its UK Premiere In London

London, UK – On Thursday evening December 7th, the eagerly-anticipated action-adventure movie, “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” from director Jake Kasdan held its UK Premiere in London.

Burberry And Harrods Present: “A Very British Fairy Tale”

LONDON, UK – British actress Lily James unveiled the new festive windows at Harrods today, launching A Very British Fairy Tale, which brings together two iconic British luxury brands.

This is the first festive partnership at Harrods, and to mark the occasion Lily switched on both the lights of Harrods’ renowned storefront windows and the first ever Harrods Christmas tree on Hans Crescent. The tree, which was designed by Burberry, is situated outside the store’s brand new Door 5 Grand Entrance.

A THEATRICAL DIGITAL WINDOW EXPERIENCE

The 29 windows on Brompton Road, where A Very British Fairy Tale unfolds, tell the story of two children on an enchanting adventure through a snow-swept English country house, complete with flying cars, floating bathtubs and secret passageways.

As part of the display, visitors are able to interact with a sensory window, through the use of a touch trigger mechanic and motion sensor, through which they can experiment with the lighting and music composed specifically for the display, bringing the tale to life.

AN EXCLUSIVE BURBERRY COLLECTION

Today’s unveiling coincides with the launch of an exclusive collection designed by Burberry, including limited-edition ready-to-wear, accessories and gifts, which all feature in the windows.

THOMAS’S AT HARRODS

For the Christmas period, a dedicated selection of pieces from Burberry’s all day café Thomas’s will be available at the Harrods Food Hall, including chocolate mince pies, biscuits and a limited edition bottle of English sparkling wine, Nyetimber, exclusive to Harrods.

PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITY

Harrods’ customers will also be able to enjoy a programme of activities to celebrate the partnership, with visitors able to discover the craftsmanship behind classic Burberry products live at different stations in the Harrods exhibition windows every weekend in the lead up to Christmas. Personalisation services such as Burberry Heritage trench coat demonstrations and bag painting will also be available.

A Very British Fairy Tale’ at Harrods can be seen from November 3rd to December 27th 2016.
